Our Students Must Always Come First 

I hope this finds you and your families healthy and safe.  Like others, the enormity of what we as a nation are facing has become top of mind; I have found great comfort and hope in seeing how our communities have come together to support one another during these unparalleled times. 

In the midst of so much uncertainty, there is one truth I know to be absolute: our students are always worth fighting for. I have been fortunate to live, volunteer, and advocate for students in our district for 15 years. As a mother, the high quality education that I want for my own children is what I want for all students. In the spirit of continuing to serve our students, families, and our community, today I am announcing my candidacy for the Stillwater Area School Board.  

I recognize and acknowledge the gravity of the times in which we currently live.  And I know we must continue to be thoughtful about investing in our students’ future and doing everything we can to support their social, emotional, and academic wellbeing.

Our school board’s leadership is being tested and our students’ futures are at stake.  Gandhi once said, “Action expresses priorities”. We have witnessed the priorities of this current board majority and our students deserve better.  We need school board members who will prioritize the well being and safety of our students. I pledge to put our students first and will need your help and support. I ask you to please join me in this critically important endeavor.
